VIVID DESIGN are now 2 graphic designers, Vivi Kuhnle and Lise-Mari Johnsen. We put our heads, hearts and hands together and profit from Vivi’s 20 years experience and Lise-Mari’s curiosity and up to date technical skills. Our design philosophy is to combine timeless simplicity, with a contemporary edge.

Vivi Kuhnle, established VIVID DESIGN in 1989 after graduating with an BFA in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design in New York. She worked as a designer in New York for Condé Nast Publications and Hearst Magazines at prestigious magazines, such as Vogue and Esquire. After returning to Norway in 1993, she has been working with clients ranging from banking and finance to art museums and galleries. She has been teaching graphic design since 1994 at NKF, Norges Kreative Fagskole. Since 2002 she has been involved with charity work as a graphic designer for Kolibri/Children At Risk Foundation. Her special interest is in the history of graphic design.

Lise-Mari Johnsen is an award winning graphic designer and recent graduate of NKF in Oslo. Prior to which she obtained a BA in International Relations and Development Studies from the University of Wellington, New Zealand. While in school she worked as a freelance graphic designer. Lise-Mari likes combining different forms of creative outlets in her designs, through which she has obtained skills in multidisciplinary software and techniques.
